This Bauhaus table lamp, model Kaiser Idell 6556, was designed in the 1930s by Christian Dell and manufactured by Kaiser Leuchten in Germany. It is made from metal and has been lacquered white. The lamp is in a good vintage condition with a refined patina and some minor signs of wear consistent with age.
